Our commitment
VoltSecure® Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero greenhouse-gas emissions by 2050, in line with the UK government's PPN 06/21 framework for public-sector contracting.
Baseline emissions
We are establishing our baseline Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions for publication alongside this plan. Figures will be added to this page once independently verified.
Reduction targets
We aim to reduce our overall greenhouse-gas emissions by at least 50% by 2030 against our baseline, on the path to Net Zero by 2050.
Carbon-reduction projects
- EV fleet transition. We are transitioning service vehicles to electric where charging infrastructure makes it operationally viable.
- Renewable electricity. We buy electricity for our office and stores under a renewable tariff.
- Local supply chain. We prioritise UK suppliers and minimise long-distance freight where alternatives exist.
- Site logistics. Engineers' routes are scheduled to consolidate visits, reducing total miles driven per project.
- Equipment lifetime. We design installations for serviceability so customers replace fewer components over the system's life - the largest indirect emissions lever in our sector.
Reporting
This plan is reviewed annually. Updated emissions figures, progress against the 2030 target and any added or amended initiatives will be published here.
