VoltSecure was appointed to deliver a lighting upgrade at Islwyn Indoor Bowls Club, replacing existing fittings with modern LED lighting throughout the facility. The project involved the replacement of approximately 168 light fittings, improving lighting performance, reducing energy consumption and supporting the long-term running costs of the club.
Indoor bowls facilities require good, even lighting across the playing surface - poor lighting affects visibility, comfort and the overall experience for players and visitors. The works also had to be carried out safely within a building where access to roof purlins was restricted in places.
The completed lighting upgrade provided the club with improved light levels, a cleaner appearance and a more energy-efficient lighting system - a long-term improvement to the building, helping reduce energy usage and future maintenance requirements. A clear demonstration of how a well-planned electrical upgrade can deliver immediate and practical benefits to a community facility.
